SAKE

So I attended S.A.K.E. A super small mini convention in boston. It was most interesting, I've never been to such a small event I wasn't sure what to do with myself most of the time. Haha. ButI do have pictures!

So it was basically a large room. There was a group of chairs that faced a stage where panels went on. Down one wall was a line of little places to buy things such as Pocky, Ramune, Figures, Movies Posters, Manga and other random Kaiju things. I was attendant to the cooking panel on how to make goyza and Do you Otaku, which was mostly entertaining. On the other side of the room were videogames. I played Naruto with some guy and kicked his ass 3 out of 5 times, we played Godzilla after where I was PWND! Lol.

There were a good amount of cosplayers. A group from D.Gray-man, group from one piece and a pile of FF peeps.

I thought that cosplayer was fairly good and one of my better pictures that came out. lol.

While there I plastered my taliman seals all over the room and hotel and places outside. Some people found it most humorous. I wonder how many people took one home? I found a few missing... Mostly ones I placed in elevators.

I have even placed it on friends and people. Hahah! What fun!

Although at one point we went out to get something to eat and while I was waiting for Rei to get food some guy began to hit on me. I guess he had a cosplay fetish... even though he wasnt from the convention... ugh...

At the end of the day we were overly tired but we waited for the dance. I don't dance but oddly enough I wanted to join in. So I had to strip of my wig, obi and other things to join in. I decorated Rei in glow sticks and some random guy. Lol. We joined in just in time for the caramelldansen. Wh00t!
